Remote Coaching

Real Coaching. Real Riders. Real Progress.

Coaching Without Boundaries

Access expert dressage coaching wherever you ride. Remote coaching connects you with real coaches, live feedback and structured support without needing to be in the same arena.

The Dressage Coach™ has supported remote riders since 2019, helping riders around the world receive more flexible, affordable and accessible coaching.

This is coaching without the old barriers. Riders can access a dressage coach in the UK or internationally, reduce travel, build a lesson archive and stay connected to support between sessions. The technology simply makes the coaching relationship easier to maintain.

Why riders love remote coaching

Expert eyes, wherever you are.

Remote coaching gives riders access to the right coach more often. It removes travel barriers, opens up better availability and makes professional support possible for riders who cannot always reach in-person lessons.

Riders love remote coaching because it can fit around real life: work, transport, weather, yard routines and the reality of owning horses. It also helps keep coaching affordable and sustainable by reducing unnecessary journeys.

Flexible coaching times without long journeys

More affordable and accessible than regular travel-heavy lessons

Expert support for riders outside a coach's local area

More coaching opportunities between face-to-face sessions

Reduced travel, making coaching more environmentally friendly

What you need

Simple to set up.

You do not need lots of expensive equipment. Start with the kit you already have, then add tracking tools if they suit your training setup.

For live lessons, most riders use a smartphone or tablet with Bluetooth earphones so they can hear the coach while riding. For video feedback, simply record the work and upload it when you have connection.

Smartphone or tablet

Use a device with signal or Wi-Fi so your coach can see the arena clearly.

Bluetooth earphones

Hear your coach while you ride and keep the lesson feeling natural.

Tripod, helper or tracking device

Use a tripod, a friend, Pivo, Pixio or Pixem depending on your setup.

No Internet? No Problem.

If you cannot rely on Wi-Fi or 4G/5G in the arena, CoachFlow™ keeps coaching accessible. Upload schooling videos, scoresheets or notes and receive personalised video feedback from a real coach.

Coaching Around The World.

Remote coaching means riders can train with expert support regardless of where they live, from local yards to international time zones.

Less Travel. More Support.

Reducing unnecessary travel makes coaching more sustainable while still giving riders regular expert guidance, feedback and accountability.

Worldwide coaching

A dressage coach wherever your horse is based.

Remote coaching opens The Dressage Coach™ to riders outside one local area. Whether you are training in the UK, Europe or further afield, the platform helps you stay connected to coaching, feedback, performance insight and a supportive rider community.

This matters for accessibility and inclusivity. Riders in rural areas, riders without regular transport, riders with limited time and riders who need a specific coaching approach can all benefit from technology-enabled support that still feels personal.

Remote coaching supports:

Dressage rider development between face-to-face lessons

Competition preparation and test review

Confidence rebuilding in a familiar environment

Training support for riders outside a coach's local area

Sustainable coaching with less travel

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you book.

Can remote dressage coaching really work?

Yes. Remote coaching can work extremely well, and one of its great advantages is accessibility. It is easier to fit around work and family commitments, involves less travelling, and lets riders access structured coaching support regardless of location — without needing every interaction to happen face-to-face. Video feedback, clear priorities and a progress archive help riders stay connected to coaching between sessions. It complements in-person lessons rather than replacing them in every situation. It is especially powerful for riders who need regular support but cannot travel frequently.

Do I need a tracking camera?

No. A tracking device can help, but many riders begin with a phone, tripod or helper. The most important thing is that your coach can see the horse and rider clearly enough to give useful feedback.

Is video feedback included?

Video feedback is a key part of CoachFlow™. It helps riders send schooling videos, receive clear next steps and build a progress archive that supports training between lessons.

Is remote coaching suitable for nervous riders?

Yes. Many riders find remote coaching less intimidating because they can train in their usual environment. The focus is on practical, supportive guidance and building confidence step by step.
