HOW TO DISTANCE YOURSELF FROM NEGATIVITY

  • Don’t spend a lot of time watching or listening to the news
  • Don’t listen to or get involved in gossip
  • Don’t get into discussions about religion or politics
  • Unfollow and/or delete negative people or pages on social media
  • Don’t let yourself get drawn in by “energy vampires”
  • Don’t judge others

  • Ask yourself daily what you are grateful for
  • Don’t judge yourself
  • See the good in yourself
  • Don’t hold on to the past - it’s already gone!
  • Learn to forgive others and yourself
  • Love and accept who you are right now
  • Wake up each morning and tell yourself you are fabulous!!!
  • Self-reflect daily ( write it down in a journal or diary)
  • Write down goals - what do you really want to do/achieve
  • Spend time with other positive people
  • Surround yourself with people who genuinely care about you and what you want to achieve
  • Be thoughtful of others
  • Be kind
  • Make time daily for motivational and positive reading
  • Get enough sleep!
